Resolutions on jail, police chases, guns, abortion, and more at Sat. Feb. 25 General Membership Meet

The February 25 General Membership Meeting (on Zoom at 10:30 am) will include First Readings of a series of resolutions Linked below. Passage at First Reading requires a two-thirds vote. At Second Reading it requires only a simple majority vote. Only members in good standing may vote.

10:30 Proposed amendment to Endorsement Policy, advancing the last day for amendment from 60 to 30 days before the first endorsement meeting.

10:40 Resolution urging postponement of Whatcom County Jail ballot measure until 2024 election to ensure best practices

11:20 Resolution to Oppose Rollback of Vehicular Pursuit Reform

11:40 Resolution for February General Membership Meeting
