Draft 2022 Platform for discussion at Sat. Jan. 22 10:30 am General Membership Meeting

Our Saturday Jan. 22 General Membership meeting will be devoted to discussing and adopting the following sections of the 2022 Platform: Preamble; Safeguarding Democracy; Climate, Energy, Environment; Criminal Legal System and Public Safety; Economy; Human and Constitutional Rights. Other sections will be considered at the February and March general membership meetings.

The Platform Committee has met weekly to prepare suggested revisions based on input from our members, and will continue to meet weekly until final adoption of the entire Platform in March.

Please submit proposals for additional new amendments directly to the committee (whatcomofcdems@gmail.com) rather than at the meeting, and these will be considered at the following meeting. The entire 2020 Platform is available on our website here, for your reference.
