Outreach Committee Gives a Big Thanks
To those who walked in one or more of the 8 Parades with us this past summer,
Who staffed our NW Washington Fair Booth and/or our Festival Booths throughout the County.
Who came to Outreach meetings to plan, made signs, and worked to design the booths, set them up, take them down and made phone calls inviting people to join us.
Who handed out water and snacks to farm workers and their supporters during their March for Dignity walk from Lynden to downtown Bellingham.
In the Sikh Community, who supplied a stop along the way with tea, water, food and chairs to sit in for the walkers during the March for Dignity.
Who staffed the information table, talked, and handed out palm cards to attendees at the Art Walk evenings in Bellingham.
Our Democratic presence was felt throughout the County!! We were welcomed and cheered by more people than ever as we walked by in the parades and our booths were very popular. It was fun, well worth the work and we could not have done it without all of you! We hope you will join us again next year!
